Woah it's been a bit of a long hiatus! I'm back with a wee bit of art, not much, but it's been hard to find time to draw since work started... I find I get to thinking about relaxing when I get home from work, but! I've managed some koalas in my spare time. I'd like to Photoshop some of them up. And I'm working on a koala character named Mr. Figg. We'll see where it leads :)

Because I don't often rant, I'll make this small, and hopefully you won't mind that this isn't an art post, even though it spurred from me searching up Kudu pictures.
Now, I'm not against hunting to eat, in fact, I find moose quite tasty, and I like my deer as much as the next Canadian who has been out East, but when I came across all these websites for trophy hunts in Africa and the like it just made me sick to my stomach. Honestly, people want to lay down 5, 10, 20 grand to go shoot an animal and take a picture with it? People are absolutely mad! If people want to hunt animals so badly, they should just spin the hunters around a few dozen times while blindfolded and make them run in different directions then pull off their blindfolds so they can hunt the other guys who ran off in other directions. It would make the world a happier place for all of us, really.
I also did read, though they have Eco Hunts, which is interesting. They bring these hunters along to tranquilize rhino, buffalo and elephant, then the scientists come in and take their blood and measurements, the hunter gets his photo and they even have a taxidermist come in and take measurements of the animal's head so that a fiberglass replica can be made. Now isn't that interesting. Why don't all hunters just become part of research teams?

Was browsing blogs earlier this week when I stumbled across semi-newer posts from the very very talented Moro Rogers and realized that I have some designs I didn't ever post along the same lines. We had a pony, zebra, camel and lemur come to our school in October and I neglected to post any of my sketches from that day way back when... so here they are now :)
Now, though, go check out Moro Rogers!
... oh, and a monster sketch from a little while back

I have a lovebird - his name is Heathcliff (named after a very specific Heathcliff of Wuthering Heights) and he hates the world, especially fingers. I used to have a budgie named Linton (Linton of Wuthering Heights) but sadly he died :(

Just a quick post - I realized I haven't posted many sketches from my sketchbooks recently. So here's a couple from my kindof card stock sketchbook, it's actually not the best for drawing on because it's so smooth, but my other sketchbook on the go's compensating in roughness for that.Oh, and the panda and koala were random characters in class that Al Cook and I were drawing -we've dubbed them Asparagus and Pineapple - though for the life of me I can't remember which one's named what.
Thanks for the comments, guys!!

Et la film? Ca va. Dans un mois je vais vous montrez.

Hey all, Salut, Ciao!
Sorry, no update yet, I'm working hard on my film, so sit tight! However, in the meantime I want to pimp out a boy whose art I have a crazy high regard for.

So check out Marko Bajic's blog, eh? Really, do!
